St. Dominic Savio School is an open school and parents are very much a part of it. We believe that when the teachers and parents work together, children have a far better chance of not only being successful in school but being successful in life as well. Hence there is always a lot of parental involvement through regular meetings and updates about the student’s performance.
At St. Dominic Savio School, we firmly believe that parents are the child’s first and most important teacher. Therefore parental involvement in their children’s learning provides numerous opportunities for individual and collective success. Research has convincingly demonstrated the positive effects of parental – child interaction on the children, the parents, the school and the community.
St. Dominic Savio School, equipped to provide opportunities for parents to get actively involved in their children’s learning, both at home and at school. This is done through a series of workshops, seminars and designated projects.
Our carefully designed parental learning and engagement programs ensure that our children are groomed to fulfil and impart the duties of being good citizens, who will in the years to come, care for the wellbeing of the society and the environment.
